Zero waste shops are like buses in Cardiff...None (that I'm aware of) then two come along at once! I visited @viva_organic today and had to hold myself back from going over the top. Also it was a last minute decision to call in and I hadn't come fully prepared with my own bottles/containers. They have a great selection of bulk buy products (rices, flour, pastas, spices, teas, oils, household cleaners and much more) which you can buy as much or as little as you want. I came out with hair conditioner, decanted into glass bottle, about 15g nettle tea (great for boosting breast milk supply I learnt today), metal straw and cleaner and treated myself to one of their specialist 'sunshine' juices - definitely what the doctor ordered! It was also quite fun too, reminded me of when I was younger playing shop! 🤣 . . . Cardiff is pretty lucky as we also have a second zero waste shop @ripple_living coming soon as well. 🙌🏻 . . . Do you have a zero waste store near you?
